LINCOLN
- Autumn Saferite, daughter of Kathy and Troy Pesha was named April
Student of the Month for the Criminal Justice Program at the
Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Autumn is a senior at Illini
Central High School.

Larry
Smith, instructor, selected Autumn for her impeccable work ethic,
study skills and excelling in the classroom. She has a job in the
evenings but always comes to class well prepared and is willing to
participate in class discussion and activities. She has the
qualities that are needed by all criminal justice professionals
especially the willingness to work hard. Autumn has bright and
exciting future ahead of her in the criminal justice field.
Autumn is involved in Science Club, Hiking Club, and FCCLA. She
works at McDonalds and in the fields during the summer.

Autumn plans to be a Military Police Officer in the Marines and
then attend Western Illinois University to study criminal law.
Autumn received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award
and honored him at a noon luncheon.
