- Mary F. “Peggy” Scott, 93, of Mount Pulaski, passed
away at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation:
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski
Service:
11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home
Services for Peggy will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski, with Rev. Zoila Marty officiating.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to
services. Burial will follow at Mount Pulaski
Cemetery.

Obituary
Mary F. “Peggy” Scott, 93, of Mount
Pulaski, passed away at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, April
15, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln.
Peggy was born on July 5, 1924 in Logan County the
daughter of Samuel Nelson and Hattie Mae (Michael)
Downing. She married Dean Scott on October 26, 1940
in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded her in death on
April 15, 2014 after 72 years of marriage.
Peggy is survived by three daughters, Kathy
(Franklin) Richardson of Mount Pulaski, Judy (Lyndel)
Emrick of Mount Pulaski, and Gloria Reynolds of
Marion, TX. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren,
25 great-grandchildren, and 11
great-great-grandchildren. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her daughter, Deborah; two brothers, Dean
and Hubert Downing; three grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Peggy worked for JC Penney in Lincoln for 14 years
and was a home maker. She enjoyed gardening and was
a member of The First United Methodist Church in
Mount Pulaski.
Services for Peggy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Friday, April 20, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Rev. Zoila Marty
officiating. Visitation will take place one hour
prior to services. Burial will follow at Mount
Pulaski Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to The First United Methodist
Church in Mount Pulaski.
