records a 4-0 shutout versus Lincoln Railers in softball

The pitching was outstanding on Wednesday afternoon at Schweitzer
Field between Pekin's Lexi Juergens and Lincoln's Kerstin Osborne.
Juergens tossed a one-hitter while going seven innings and striking
out six batters. Osborne allowed five hits and four runs over seven
innings and she struck out seven batters.
It was Pekin's offense getting the better results. The Dragons
scored once in the first inning, twice in the second inning and
added another run in the fourth inning. The final score was 4-0.
For Lincoln, the only offense was a double by Osborne in the fourth
inning.
Lincoln's record falls to 2-12 on the season.
