Marjorie ‘Marge’ J. Watkins, 78, of Bloomington, passed away on
Saturday, July 21, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in
Peoria.

Obituary
Marjorie ‘Marge’ J. Watkins, 78, of
Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018,
at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Her graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on
Friday, July 27, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in
Bloomington with Fr. Michael Kwane officiating. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the
family.
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington
is assisting the family with arrangements.
Marge was born on August 16, 1939, in Funks Grove,
Illinois, a daughter to Susia Pearl Horath and
Clemons Lee Hawkey.
She worked for Lehn and Fin in Lincoln, Illinois,
for over 30 years.
Surviving are her sons Dan (Tonya Harrison) Watkins
of Bloomington and Brian (Tracy) Watkins of Lincoln;
siblings Charlene Wilkins of Shirley, Shirley Fun of
Heyworth, Beverly Sellberg of Bloomington, Russell
Hawkey of Bloomington, Patricia (Duane) Buck of
Lawrence KS, Robert (Shirley) Hawkey of Heyworth and
Brinda (Perry Jim) Hardin of Downs; grandsons, Brian
(Jenny) Watkins of Allen TX, Bryant (Kristen Adams)
Watkins of Lubbock TX, Caleb and Triston Watkins of
Bloomington and Bryce Watkins of Lincoln; four
great-grandsons, four step great-grandchildren and
many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; brother,
Alfred Hawkey; sister, Linda Roland; grandson, Brock
Watkins and infant granddaughter, Danielle Watkins. |
Marge loved her family and was concerned
about their well being up to the very end.
