Nothing
stops a farmer, and if any of the Kiddie Tractor Pull families and
competitors are headed in that direction in their lives, it isn't
the weather that will stop them.

Early Tuesday morning, down at the Knights of
Columbus Pavilion on the south end of the Logan County Fairgrounds,
it may have been the chilliest and damp Kiddie Tractor Pull in over
a couple of decades. That didn't stop approximately 37 participants
from having a great time.
The competition is one of strength, agility and coordination from
our most youthful citizens who walk this terra. It stretches out
over much of the morning as one child at a time sits in the tractor
and peddles on the word 'Go.'
Kids are first weighed in and then were divided into weight classes.
They then take their turn peddling their little hearts out on a
child-sized tractor with a weighted sleigh in tow.
Parents, grandparents, siblings and friends urge each competitor to
the finish line and those who make it get to do it again with more
weight added to the sleigh in order to determine three top winners
for each weight class.
On this particular morning, as thunder boomed nearby, everyone
seemed to really enjoy themselves.
