Obituary
Barry F. Anderson, 65, of Lincoln,
passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at The
Christian Village in Lincoln.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Barry Forrest Anderson was born September 23, 1952,
in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Wilbur Forrest
Anderson. He was united in marriage to Athena Kay
Maness on June 5, 1971. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Athena McIntosh and
Coby Anderson. one brother: Gary (Barb) Anderson;
two grandchildren: Allegra McIntosh and Allister
McIntosh; and one great-granddaughter: Averey
McIntosh.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents and half
brother: Ronnie Ford. |
He graduated from Mason City High School in 1970.
Barry was a hard worker all of his life. He was a self-taught
musician, was the lead guitarist in the band "Roanoke," and most
enjoyed jamming with his friends. He enjoyed nature and hiked many
miles in many states.
Memorials may be made to Safe Haven Hospice in Lincoln.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
