Baylee has four siblings, but prefers to sing with
her sister or her cousin. They entertain at family gatherings and
for friends whenever they are requested.
No stranger to the stage, Baylee has been competing in talent
competitions since she was 10. Look for her in the community because
she loves to perform in plays, as well.
Alexa Redd is a 16-year-old ready to set the
entertainment industry on fire. Falling in love with music in her
formative years, she has been honing her craft since the age of 12.
Alexa writes her own music and her single “Right Time” released
earlier this year with a music video has had over 38,000 views.
Alexa says she will stop at nothing to chase her dreams.
These ladies were the only two competing in the Senior Division of
Logan County Talent Competition on the Lincoln Stage, Saturday
morning at the Logan County Fair.
The senior performers were judged by Tim Searby,
Rachel Hall Jordan, and Seth Goodman on costume, audience appeal,
stage presence, and ability for a possible score of 50 points.

After deliberating for about a half an hour, the
judges returned to the Lincoln Stage to announce a winner.
Both girls did a great job performing and Master
of Ceremonies, Darlene Begolka, told the audience, “The scores were
very, very close with only a few points separating the girls.”
In second place was Baylee Baker.
The winner, who will perform in the Illinois County Fair Talent
Competition at the Crowne Plaza Springfield in January, was Alexa
Redd.
Congratulations to both ladies on a job well done!
