[August 16, 2018]    The Anaheim Ducks signed right wing Ondrej Kase to a three-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal is worth $7.8 million, according to published reports.

Kase, 22, established career highs of 20 goals, 18 assists and 38 points last season. He recorded five game-winning tallies.

"Ondrej is a skilled player that has a bright future in this league," Ducks general manager Bob Murray said in a news release. "He can skate and score and will continue to improve as a player as he gains more experience."

Kase had 53 points (25 goals, 28 assists) in 119 NHL games.

The Czech Republic native was a seventh-round pick in 2013.
