First Presbyterian and St. John United Church of Christ join in Vacation Bible School session three of Godly Play

LINCOLN 

The last Godly Play VBS session offered jointly by the First Presbyterian and St. John United Church of Christ (UCC) churches will be held on August 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 301 Pekin Street in Lincoln.

The program is open to all children ages Pre-K to ‘rising’ freshmen. Registration is same day at the door beginning at 5:30 p.m. or parents or guardians may call one of the churches prior to the 21st for advance registration if desired.

The theme this month will be “Individual Gifts of the Spirit” and will feature animal stories with visual assistance from caretakers and animal visitors from the Scoville Zoo in Decatur.

A free meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.

At 6:10 p.m. will b Spirit Mobile Activity, followed by the Scoville Zoo presentation.

Parents and family are invited to attend the VBS year end closing program that will follow VBS dismissal at 7:30 p.m.
