Rochester STEM Fair To Highlight Regional Programs Available to Students and Teachers

[August 17, 2018]  The fourth annual Rochester STEM Fair will be held Wednesday, September 5 from 6:30 to 8 pm at Rochester High School cafeteria. All students Kindergarten through 12, families, teachers and staff in central Illinois (not just Rochester) are invited to this free event.

At the STEM Fair students and families will learn about all the great science, technology engineering, and math programs available throughout the school year so they can find one that fits their schedules and interests.

Exhibitors will include:

Illinois State University’s Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology (CeMaST), a state leader in integrative STEM education opportunities and research;

Engineering Explorers Post 6, led by IDOT employees, showcasing their great series of engineering activities for high school students;

Falcon Hobby Supply's FPV Drone Racing display, where you can check out the technology of Zach Carlson and crew’s first person view drone racing;

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, which will show their lesson plans to review five different "new" technologies at the time of the American Civil War.

These are just some of the amazing organizations which will be displaying their STEM programs.
