[August 23, 2018]    Clemson senior forward David Skara is back with the program after originally departing to pursue a professional career.

The Tigers announced the return of the 6-foot-8 Croatian on Wednesday. He averaged 3.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 19.3 minutes while playing in 26 games (seven starts) last season as Clemson reached the Sweet 16.

Skara, who started seven games, is considered one of the club's top defensive players. He announced his departure in April before the recent change in course.

Skara played his first two college seasons at Valparaiso before transferring to Clemson.

His return is the latest dose of good news for a team that went 25-10 last season. Guards Marcquise Reed and Shelton Mitchell also return after entering the NBA draft and later withdrawing their names.
