The Mount Pulaski Honeybears (24-3) will play
for third place this Thursday night versus Annawan (24-4) in the
final round of the 2018 7th Grade Class 1A State Tournament.
Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. at the Central A & M Middle
School in Assumption.
On Saturday the Honeybears defeated Sigel St. Michael's 24-20 in
the quarterfinals of the tournament. Mount Pulaski was led by
Mackenzi Chandler with 11 points and Grace Davis with 10 points.
In the semifinals Saturday night Mount Pulaski lost to Ottawa
Wallace by a score of 36-31. Chandler led the Honeybears with 14
points.
