Contemporary Jazz Revue Thursday and Friday at Lincoln College
‘#Off the Grid LC’ takes musical look at the challenges, allure of social media

 

[December 06, 2018]   The Contemporary Jazz Studies program at Lincoln College will present their fall original jazz revue, “#Off the Grid LC” on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 6-7, beginning at 7 p.m. each night.

Performances will be at the Johnston Center for the Performing Arts on the Lincoln College campus. Tickets are $5, with student admission discounted to $1.

Through a series of musical numbers, including original compositions by students, the revue looks at the challenges students face balancing the lure of social media with the need to focus on daily tasks and responsibilities.
