Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

it takes a village to raise a child, so it is with a fundraiser. The
Oasis Senior Citizens Center held a new fundraiser, Festival of

I would like to publicly thank the "village" that made this event
possible.
The table hosts and the creators of the beautiful tablescapes: Scott
McClure, CareLink; Deb Maaks, Copper Creek Cottages; Julie
Williamson, Generations at Lincoln; Tisha Perry, Timber Creek
Village; Patti Becker; Virginia Hughes, Sherry McQuinn, Mary Beth
Jackson; Elaine Knight, Katarina Hoback; Marilyn Lowery; Laura
Sandrolini; Nancy Cunningham; and Michele Hansen-Hoback.
The wonderful food, donated and prepared by: Pamela Kunkel, Nick and
Jeanie Xamis plus imported English tea donated by Alexis Asher.
