			opening 54-29

			 [December 10, 2018] 
			The West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines ended Mount Pulaski 
			Honeybears season when the two Logan County teams who are located in 
			different regions and sections faced each other in first round play 
			at state. The Wolverines won 54-29.
 The Lady Wolverines went on to defeat Washington St. Patrick 43-18 
			in semi finals to advance to the state championship.
 
 The State Championship game is this Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in 
			Clinton.

 West Lincoln-Broadwell vs Mount Pulaski game
 
 It was business as usual on Saturday for the West Lincoln-Broadwell 
			Lady Wolverines Basketball Team as they continued their march 
			towards another state title. The Lady Wolverines ended the Mount 
			Pulaski Honeybears season by a score of 54-29 Saturday afternoon in 
			the Eighth Grade Class 1A State Tournament held at Clinton Junior 
			High School.
 
 Kloe Froebe of WLB led all scorers with 32 points. Elly Martinez 
			tossed in 11 points for the Lady Wolverines.
 
 Je’Na Rentmeister scored 10 points for Mount Pulaski. Alexis Wade 
			contributed 9 points in her final game of her Honeybear career. Wade 
			also finishes her Honeybear basketball career with 1,176 points.
 
 Mount Pulaski ends their season with a 21-5 record.
 
 West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines vs Washington St. Patrick
 
 On Saturday evening, the Lady Wolverines took care of business, 
			handing Washington St. Patrick a 43-18 loss in the semifinals.

            Kloe Froebe led all scorers with 24 points for WLB. 
 Claire McDougall led Washington St. Patrick with 15 points.
 
            WLB (23-0) will take on Ottawa Wallace (28-0) for the state 
			championship on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in Clinton. 
 Washington St. Patrick (26-2) will play Sigel St. Michael’s (20-5) 
			at 6 p.m. in the third place game.
