Obituary
Betty Michels, 78, passed away at
1:07 a.m. on December 7, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Betty was born on June 10, 1940 in Lincoln, daughter
of Lee and Catherine (Koehler) Michels.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Kathi (Jeffrey)
Woosley of Lincoln, and Julie Schumann of
Bloomington, one son: Tim (Emily) Engle of Mt. Holly
NC; five grandchildren: Josh (Hannah) Schumann, Jake
(Ciara) Schumann, Miranda (Dustin) Davis, Heather
(Tyler) Hames, and Paul Engle; five great
grandchildren: Josie Schumann, Lacie Davis, Gavin
Schumann, Zander Davis, and Axel Schumann. |
As one of Jehovah’s witnesses, her
greatest joy was sharing the Bible’s message of a
bright future for the earth and mankind.
Services for Betty will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday
December 15, 2018 at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom
Hall, 111 Northville Drive, Lincoln, with Richard
Donald officiating. There will be no visitation, but
family will be happy to greet everyone after the
service.
