- Merle Abe Voyles, 80, of Hartsburg passed away on
Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in
Lincoln.

Obituary
Merle Abe Voyles, 80, of Hartsburg
passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Merle was born on February 21, 1938 in Lincoln, the
son of Lewis Merle and Kathryn (Banister) Voyles.
Merle is survived by his sister, Ruby Swinford; his
numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews,
and great-great nieces and nephews.
Merle was preceded in death by his parents, and his
sister, Vivian Harris. |
Services for Merle will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to the
service (10:00-11:00 a.m.) also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at Irish Grove
Cemetery, Middletown.
Memorial donations may be made in Merle’s name to
The American Heart Association.
