The Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team ran
their winning streak to four-in-a-row over the weekend when they
went on the road to defeat the St. Xavier University Cougars
69-58.
Lincoln was led in scoring by senior guard Lejavius Johnson
(Glenwood) who went 9-for-20 from the field and totaled 21
points in the game. Senior forward J.J. Turner (Chicago) and
sophomore guard Montez Crumble (Cahokia) also reached
double-digits for LC with Turner scoring 11 points and Crumble
chipping in 10.
The Lynx will try to extend their hot streak another game on
December 30th when they will host nationally ranked University
of St. Francis (IN) at 3:00 PM. St. Francis comes in at #19 on
the most recent National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics (NAIA) poll, and USF owns a win over Lincoln that came
