The Nursing Assistant Certificate at Heartland
prepares individuals to function as nursing assistants in nursing
homes, hospitals and private homes. Instruction focuses on basic
nursing knowledge and skills required to care for patients.
Some student funding for the CNA program is available to qualified
individuals under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act. To
qualify for funding students must not be currently attending school
and be under 24 years of age. Other financial aid opportunities may
also be available.

A registration open house will be held on Friday, December 21
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Heartland Lincoln Center, 2201 Woodlawn Road,
Lincoln. The event is open to anyone interested in
exploring the CNA program.
