On
Thursday, Justice Rita B. Garman and the
Illinois Supreme Court announced that Logan
County State's Attorney Jonathan Wright will be
filling the seat as resident Circuit Judge in
the Eleventh Judicial Circuit beginning January
7th. Wright will complete a two-year term from
January 2019 through December 7th, 2020, at
which time the seat will be filled according to
results of the November 2020 election.
