Obituary
Karen was born on May 13, 1944 in
Waverly, IL. the daughter of Claude D. and Dorthea
(Drummond) Smith. She married Oscar Beal on November
13, 1968 in Springfield, IL. he survives in Cornland.
Karen is also survived by her
children, Phil E. (Michele) Tremaine Jr. of Mt.
Pulaski; Darrin Scott (Kimberly) Tremaine of
Springfield; and Michael Dale (Melisa) Beal of
Mechanicsburg. Additionally Karen is survived by
twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her
parents; and one brother, Gary Smith.
Karen enjoyed reading, she was a true bookworm. She
also loved spending time with her cats.
A private family graveside service
will be held at a later date. Services have been
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Mt. Pulaski.
