Obituary
Betty Wilma Johnson, 84, entered
into eternal peace on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She
was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her parents
Wilma (Ridgeway) Dunham Brown and Charles Dunham,
Leroy Brown, her two sons Michael Johnson and
Greggory Johnson, and one grandson Charles “Chaz”
Werth.
Betty was born on April 27, 1934 in Shipman, IL. She
married Harold “Bud” Johnson on December 22, 1951 in
Broadwell. They celebrated 67 years of life
together. Betty was a lifelong communicant of Sweet
Water Christian Church. Betty was a very kind and
gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart,
and was always giving to others.
She leaves her loving memories to
be cherished by her; loving daughter, Marcia
Johnson; sister, Linda Green of Lincoln and brother
Robert “Bob” Dunham, of Lincoln; seven Grand
Children, and 11 Great Grand Children. |
Funeral Services will be held
Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holland
Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Visitation will be one
hour prior to the service. Burial will follow
services at Broadwell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to Sweet Water Christian Church.
