Obituary
Betty Lohrenz, 91 of Lincoln passed
away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home.
Private family services will be held at the Peasley
Funeral Home.
Betty Williams was born on February 8, 1927 in
Evanston, Illinois the daughter of Lester and
Josephine Bracko Williams. She was united in
marriage to Lynn Mike Lohrenz on September 17, 1947.
He preceded her in death on December 10, 1998.
Surviving Betty are her children: Marsha Hurley of
Lincoln, Mark (Debbie) Lohrenz of Galesburg, Gary
(Mary Kay) Lohrenz of Lincoln, Eight grandchildren:
Kevin (Dawn) Fry, Kerry Fry, Stacy (Eric) Carlson,
Aaron (Kelly) Lohrenz, Corey Lohrenz, Nick (Cara)
Lohrenz, Derek (Tiffany) Lohrenz, Kelly (Chris)
Causer. Thirteen great grandchildren. Two great
great grandchildren. |
Betty was preceded in death by her
husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Betty graduated from Lincoln
Community High School in 1944.
She retired from Doctor Borgeson's office as a
receptionist after 23 years of service.
She was a member of Holy Family
Catholic church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's
Hospital.
