Pulaski takes second place in the Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Holiday Tournament
Lady Toppers fall to hosts 51-30

[December 31, 2018]    The Lady Toppers suffered a 51-30 loss to the TC/SV Tornadoes in the championship game of the tournament on Saturday night.

Mount Pulaski's Skylar Hayes scored her 2,000th career point versus Olympia in the TC/SV Holiday Tournament.

A slow start plagued the Lady Toppers. The score at the end of the first quarter was a dismal 19-2. At the half, TC/SV was up 26-8. The gap was closed a bit by the end of the third quarter, 29-16 the score. But the Tornadoes have been solid for many years and easily took home the championship trophy again with a 51-30 victory.

Skylar Hayes led Mount Pulaski with 16 points.

Mount Pulaski's Skylar Hayes, Isabella Wade and Morgan May made the All-Tournament Team. 

Ashlyn Sturdy of TC/SV led all scorers with 23 points.
