The Wolverines defeated Bloomington Cornerstone
(19-1) by a score of 36-32 to advance to the 2018 7th Grade
Class 1A State Tournament.
The Wolverines head to the state tournament at East Peoria
Central Junior High School with a 20-3 record, and will play in
the first round at 11:30 a.m. this Saturday against Mazon-Verona-Kinsman
(15-7).
The winner will advance to the semifinals Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
The third place and championship games of the tournament will be
played on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
