White House official says there's been no discussions about firing Rosenstein

[February 03, 2018]  WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A White House official said on Friday that there has been no discussions or considerations about firing Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

President Donald Trump had appeared to raise that possibility earlier on Friday when asked whether he retained confidence in Rosenstein in the fallout over a Republican memo about the ongoing Russia probe. "You figure that one out," Trump had replied.
