There are many volunteer opportunities available including: set
up, raffle ticket sales, greeters, food servers, cup sales, clean up, and so
much more.
Cheeseburger in Paradise is the biggest event hosted by CAPCIL
every year. The last two years the agency was able to generate over $25,000
during this event to help reduce poverty in our community. This is the
opportunity to help people out of poverty into a life of lasting independence –
one cheeseburger at a time. CAPCIL appreciates the support the community has
given and is looking forward to hosting another memorable event.
For those interested in purchasing a package or tickets to attend this beachy
fundraiser, donating an item to the auction and/or raffle, or sending in a
monetary contribution can contact Katie Dalpoas or Breann Titus at (217)
732-2159 or you can visit the website www.capcil.info and click on the
Cheeseburger link.
It is the mission of CAPCIL, in partnership with communities in our service
area, to empower persons with low income and the aged by creating and
implementing poverty-fighting initiatives for those in crisis and those that
endeavor a life of lasting independence.
