Service:  Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Manor

Obituary

Patricia Ann Duncan, 81, of Lincoln, passed away January 30, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Manor. There will be no burial at this time.

Patricia was born June 9, 1936, the daughter of Lester and Bessie Palmer. She married Ray Howerton. He preceded her in death. She later married Billy Duncan. He preceded her in death.

She was of the Baptist faith. Patricia was formerly employed at Spencer Terrace in Norris City, IL. where she was a caretaker for special needs residents. She enjoyed being a caregiver to others. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards, and visiting with her friends at Friendship Manor.

 

Survivors include: her children; Rayann Earley of Lincoln, Rick (Lori) Howerton of Normal, Betina (Carlos) Bryant of Bloomington, Belinda Duncan of Springfield, and Daniel (Brenda) Howerton of Bloomington; 23, grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother George (Dahlia) Palmer of FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Howerton, husband Billy Duncan, son John Howerton, 2 grandchildren, and several siblings.

Memorial donations may be made to Friendship Manor or to The American Cancer Society.
