Alex Tuch scored with 5:12
remaining to give the Vegas Golden Knights a 4-3 victory over the
Washington Capitals in a battle of division leaders Sunday afternoon
in Washington.
Tuch approached from goalie Philipp Grubauer's right and got off a
weak shot that Grubauer couldn't control, and the puck slid through
the crease and just over the line inside the right post.
The victory put Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury (20 saves) into 13th
place on the all-time wins list (390), moving him past Dominik
Hasek.
Washington's Barry Trotz passed Lindy Ruff for fifth place on the
NHL's all-time games coached list. Trotz now has coached 1,494
games.
Canadiens 4, Senators 1
Artturi Lehkonen scored twice, including the eventual winning goal
midway through the second period to pace host Montreal past Ottawa.
Carey Price made 25 saves to record Montreal's second consecutive
win.
Lehkonen's only two previous goals of the season came in a game
against the Senators in October.
