[February 06, 2018]  (Reuters) - The New York Mets have reached a deal to sign free agent third baseman Todd Frazier, MLB.com reported on Monday, with multiple sources saying he would ink a two-year deal worth $17 million.

The 31-year-old slugger hit .213 with 27 home runs and 76 RBIs last season, which he started with the Chicago White Sox before being traded to the New York Yankees.

Frazier has hit at least 27 homers in each of the past four seasons and is a two-time All Star. (Writing by Jahmal Corner in Los Angeles; Editing by John O'Brien)
