[February 15, 2018]  EUREKA - Goldie A. Ball, 95, of Eureka passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.

 

Visitation: Friday, February 9, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta

Service: 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home

Funeral home: Quiram Peasley Funeral Home, Atlanta

Obituary

Goldie A. Ball, 95, of Eureka, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.

Visitation will be at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating.

Burial will follow at Atlanta Cemetery.

Goldie Alice Ball was born January 29, 1923, in Peoria, the daughter of Arthur Merle and Letha May Snyder Ryan. She married Fred Snow of McLean in 1941. He preceded her in death. She later married Paul M. Ball. He also preceded her in death.

 

Funeral Director

Goldie is survived by her children: Connie (Curt) McCarty of Peoria, William (Vickie) Ball of Oxford, Miss., James (Susan ) Ball of Orlando, Fla., and Robert Ball of Eureka; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; one daughter, Vyvyan L. Daughterty; two sisters; and two brothers.

Goldie was a 1941 graduate of Atlanta High School. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a Gold Star Widow/Wife (Fred Snow).

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post #263 Auxiliary in Lincoln.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
