Obituary
Clara Jane Johnson, 90, of Lincoln
passed away on February 7, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Clara was born on August 12, 1927 in Glen Dean, KY;
daughter of Julian and Nellie (Powell) Bennett. She
married Kenneth Johnson on April 15, 1953 in
Lincoln; he survives her.
Also surviving her are her children: David (Diane)
Johnson of Middletown, and Linda (Randy) Rodems of
Oakridge, TN; one daughter–in-law: Deborah Boward of
Middletown; six grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers:
Joe and Ralph one sister: Nellie, and one son:
Jerry. |
Clara was a member of the First
United Methodist Church in Middletown.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday
February 15, 2018 at Irish Grove Cemetery in
Middletown with Rev. Al Sample officiating.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist
Church of Middletown, or Middletown American Legion.
