Obituary
Robert A. Dial, 83, passed away on
Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Memorial Medical
Center in Springfield.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday,
February 17, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Holy Cross
Cemetery in Lincoln with Rev. Jeffrey G. Laible
officiating. Military rites will be accorded by
American Legion post # 263.
Robert A. Dial was born on December 10, 1934 in
Lincoln the son of Virgil and Marguerite Cronin
Dial.
He is survived by his daughter: Terri Lynn Dial and
son David W. Dial. Three grandchildren: Brandy
(Jeff) Heath, Danny (Brianna) Osborn, Megan (Andy)
Scroggin. Six great grandchildren: Emma Nicole Vieth,
Isaah Evans, Elijah Scroggin, Isaac Scroggin,
Bhayleigh Osborn, Daxton Osborn. |
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother,
Richard Dial, granddaughter Sarah Lynn Osborn, and great-grandson,
Gabriel Scroggin.
Bob served in the United States Army . He later retired from Myers
Industries in Lincoln in 2002.
He is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church , American Legion Post
#263, Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie # 2708.
