Obituary
Beverly K. Lane, 74, of McLean,
passed away at 12:23 p.m. on Monday, February 12,
2018, at her home.
Visitation for Beverly will be held on Friday,
February 16, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at
the McLean Christian Church. Funeral Services for
Beverly will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Tony
Billingsley officiating. Burial will be at the
McLean Cemetery.
Beverly Kaye Dietz was born February 22, 1943, in
Bloomington, the daughter of John and Almeda Durst
Dietz. She married Samuel J. Lane, Jr. on November
10, 1973, in Bloomington. He survives.
Beverly is also survived by four children: Jerald
(Rita) Page of McLean, Donald (Wendy) Page of
Smyrna, Tenn., Edward (Dawn) Page of Flanagan, and
James (Robin) Page of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; 13
grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two
sisters: Sharon Kuable of Clay City, and Pat Webb of
Perryville, Mo., and several nieces and nephews. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents; one daughter: Bonnie Kwalas; one brother:
John Dietz, III., and one sister: Peggy Hiatt.
Beverly was a member of the McLean Christian Church.
She had worked as a clerk at the McLean Post Office,
sold and refurbished to sell mobile homes, and as a
waitress. Her family will remember her as always
working. She had enjoyed playing Bunco in a
traveling club and flower gardening.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of
Central Illinois in Normal, or the McLean Christian
Church.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
