Obituary
Betty Jane Eaton, 90, of Lincoln,
passed away on February 14, 2018 at Copper Creek in
Lincoln.
Betty was born on April 25, 1927 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Michael and Amelia (Klask) Dutz. She
married Owen “Red” Eaton on August 27, 1949 in
Lincoln. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1982.
Betty is survived by her children: Owen (Judy)
Eaton; Teresa (Buster) Compton; her grandchildren:
Shelley (Tony) Marsaglia, Owen Jr. (Teri) Eaton,
Sheryl Eaton, Kelly (Jake) Johnston, Brandon (Kassi)
Compton; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
and special friend Lloyd Heidbreder, sisters and
brothers: Charlie Dutz, Helen French, Emma Robbins,
Louise Terrey, Louie Dutz, and Mickey Dutz. |
Services for Betty will be held at
11:00 a.m. Monday February 19, 2018 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with
Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will take
place one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00
a.m.) also at the funeral home. Burial at Zion
Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be
made in Betty’s name to VFW Auxiliary or Alzheimer’s
Association.
