WLB will
take on a team of area media all-stars featuring the crew from WLCN
96.3 FM’s Cheap Seats Saturday morning sports show, WAND-TV sports
director Gordon Voit and officers from the Lincoln Police
Department.
The event takes place on Sunday, March 4 at West Lincoln-Broadwell
Elementary School starting at 5 pm. Several other activities are
planned, including a bake sale, a 50/50 drawing, a half-court shot
contest and a DARE merchandise sale. Chances will be sold to win a
prize package donated by Illinois American Water Company consisting
of four tickets to a Peoria Rivermen hockey game and Buffalo Wild
Wings gift card. Some additional surprises may take place as well.
Admission to the game will be a monetary donation. Proceeds from
all activities will benefit the Lincoln DARE program.
