Obituary
Nicole M. Bottrell, 35, of Lincoln,
passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018, at 10:35
p.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A Memorial Service will be at held on Saturday,
February 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Elk's Lodge
#914, 1020 1525th Street, in Lincoln. Dr. John
Scherschel will officiate.
A celebration of Nicole’s life will immediately
follow until 5:00 p.m.
Nicole Marie Bottrell was born September 30, 1982,
in Springfield, the daughter of Paul Glenn and Debra
Joann Hinds Bottrell.
Surviving Nicole are her parents: Debbie (Dallas)
Jones and Paul (Lori) Bottrell; her grandmother:
Mary Bottrell; three brothers: Ken (Angie) Bottrell,
Scott (Shannon) Bottrell, and Jeremy (Tonya) Botrell;
her nieces and nephews: Kalob, Koby, Derrick,
Ellie, Zack, Liam, Raistlin, and Jozi.

She was preceded in death by her
grandparents: Fred and Eileen Hinds, and Glenn
Bottrell.
Nicole graduated from Lincoln Community High School
in 2001 and Bradley University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science -
Nursing degree. During her career as a nurse, she worked for HSHS
St. John's Hospital and Prairie Heart Center
An avid Cardinals fan, Nicole was a fun loving person who delighted
in visiting Disney World, and being with her friends and family. She
also enjoyed taking care of people.
Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Center in
Peoria or Breast Friends Forever.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of
Lincoln.
