Obituary
Kathleen Ann Bruce, 61, of Lincoln,
passed away on February 21, 2018 in her home.
Kathleen was born on October 17, 1956 in Lincoln,
daughter of William and Shirley (Baker) Kurtz,
step-mother Alice Kurtz. She married Thomas Bruce in
Lincoln. He survives her in Lincoln.
Also surviving Kathleen are her sons: Shawn and Nick
Baker; her step-children: Tommy (Mary) Bruce,
Michael (Jodi) Bruce, Candice Bruce, Nancy (Tim)
Pollon, Karen (Ed) Miller, and Jimmy Bruce; her
siblings: Ellen Bard, Gene Schoth, Elizabeth
Bertram, and Billy Kurtz. Additionally she is
survived by numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her
parents.
Services for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, February 26, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Lincoln with Ron Otto officiating.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to
services (10:00- 11:00 a.m.) on Monday, February 26,
2018 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow
the services at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to
her family.
