Crusaders split with Decatur Holy Family

[January 03, 2018]    The Crusaders welcomed Decatur Holy Family on 8th Grade night at Carroll Catholic school.

 

In the 7th grade contest, the Crusaders lost by a score of 43-37.

The Crusaders were led in scoring by Jarrett Evers with 18 points and Darren Stevens with 11. Rounding out the scoring were Parker Graue and Kyle Gellner with four apiece.

CCS/NHM/ZLS won the 8th grade contest by a score of 65-21.

The Crusaders jumped out to a quick lead, led by Andrew Graue's 20 point first quarter, on his way to a game-high 27 points. Trent Koehler and Drew McCray chipped in 14 apiece to push the Crusaders on to victory. Rounding out the home team scoring were Everett Maaks with 4 points and Kaden Stewart, Kanon Browne and Hayden Allen with 2 a piece.

The 8th grade team improves to 10-7 on the season.
