- Otis G. “Pete” Howe Jr., 81, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 1:00
a.m. Thursday December 21, 2017 at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Mount Pulaski.

Mount Pulaski Christian Church

Obituary
Otis G. “Pete” Howe Jr., 81, of Mount
Pulaski, IL, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Thursday
December 21, 2017 at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Pete was born on August 3, 1936 in Lincoln to Otis
G. and Minnie (Miller) Howe Sr. He married Phyllis
Scheuler on September 22, 1956 in Mount Pulaski. He
later married Marjorie June Vignali on June 30, 1966
in Springfield. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Cheryl (Doug) Davis of
Elkhart, three grandsons, Kyle Davis, Matthew Davis
and Aaron Davis, one brother Donald Howe of
Warrensburg, two step-daughters, Deb Mifflin of
Springfield, and Marge Banta of St. Louis, MO, and
his best friend Dolly Buckles of Mount Pulaski.

Pete was a retired heavy equipment
mechanic. He was a lifetime member of Local #150
operating engineers, the Mount Pulaski Masonic Lodge
and the Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
Services for Pete will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday
December 28, 2017 at the Mount Pulaski Christian
Church with Casey McCormick officiating. Visitation
will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services.
Burial will follow services at Lake Bank Cemetery,
Mount Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski EMS or to
the Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
