LINCOLN
Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital proudly welcomed its first baby of 2018 on
Wednesday, January 3 at 10:56pm. Scarlett Gracelynn weighed 7
pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 ½ inches long at birth. Ashley Martinez
and Eddie Skelton, Jr. of Lincoln are the proud parents. She has 2
sisters and 1 brother.
If Scarlett’s name reminds you of a famous 1939 movie, you have
identified her parent’s inspiration. And hopefully she enjoys Gone
with the Wind someday as much as her grandmothers and a
great-grandmother. They were all huge fans of the famous movie that
was nominated for 13 Academy Awards in 1940. Her middle name,
Gracelynn, reflects her father’s deep appreciation of Elvis Presley.
Presley owned the famous 13.8 acre Graceland mansion in Memphis,
Tennessee.
Ashley’s physician is Kristen Green, MD, a specialist in obstetrics
and gynecology with Springfield Clinic Lincoln.
ALMH’s Family Maternity Suites is a state-of-the-art obstetrical
center that features spacious private
labor-delivery-recovery-postpartum rooms with private restrooms and
showers. Each mom and baby receives individualized care.
