Obituary
Florence "Annette" Seibert, 83, of
Lincoln, passed away January 2, 2018, at Eden
Village, Glen Carbon.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday,
January 8, 2018, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral
Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will follow at 1
p.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Michael
Mallick officiating. Burial will be in Elkhart
Cemetery following services.
Annette was born July 23, 1934, in Lincoln, the
daughter of Thomas and Bernadine (Pfeifer) Stoltz.
She married James E. Seibert on September 3, 1955.
He preceded her in death on November 10, 2009.
She was a graduate of Lincoln Community High School
Class of 1952 She graduated from St. John’s School
of Nursing in 1955. She was a Registered Nurse for
50 years, having worked for Dr. Barringer. She also
was formerly employed at Lincoln Developmental
Center where she held the titles of RN, Head Nurse,
and Building Administrator. She attended Holy Family
Catholic Church. Annette was a member of the Logan
County Master Gardeners and the Lincoln Elks Club
914. She enjoyed gardening, golf, tennis, music, and
dancing. |
Survivors include: son Randy (Kathy)
Seibert of Arlington Heights, son Lance (Gena)
Seibert of Glen Carbon, daughter Jody (John) Mosley
of Dunwoody, GA, grandchildren Courtney (Jordan)
Longhi, Layna Seibert, John Mosley, Madison Seibert,
Jake Mosley, Anna Mosley, Elizabeth Seibert, and
Jamie Seibert, brother Tinker (Geraldine) Stoltz of
Jackson, MS; and sister Mary Schramer of Palatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
and sister Libby Miller.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson’s
research.
