Obituary
Arta Louise Billington, 94, of Mount
Pulaski, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Monday January 8,
2018 in Bloomington.
Louise was born on January 24, 1923 in McLean County
to Oscar “Shorty” and Edith (Godker) Long. She
married Ernest “Ernie” Charles Billington on January
6, 1943 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on
February 8, 2006.
Louise is survived by two sons, Robert (Vickie)
Billington of Creve Coeur, Ronald (Donna) Billington
of Bellevue, NE, daughter-in-law, Annette Billington
of Lincoln, two brothers, Harold Long of Atlanta,
Kenny Long of Bloomington, two sisters, Nancy Horner
of Armington, Mary Lou Pierce of Riverside, CA,
seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one
son James, two sisters and one brother.

She was a member of the Mount Pulaski
Christian Church. After her retirement from Lehn and
Fink in Lincoln, she and her husband enjoyed camping
and fishing.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday
January 12, 2018 at Atlanta Cemetery in Atlanta,
officiated by Casey McCormick.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski Christian
Church Building Fund.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski is handling arrangements.
