Richard Frederick McClellan, 58,
Lincoln IL, died Sunday, December 24, 2017.
Richard was born January 27, 1959 in Chicago
Heights, to Norman Ian and Emma Margaret (Gile). He
worked as a welder for Local 137 Plumbers &
Steamfitters. He was an avid ham radio operator
known as KD9DPW. He married the love of his life
Rebecca Ann McClellan on April 26th, 1980. She
preceded him in death December 21, 2004.
He is survived by his mother; Emma. Three sons;
Richard D. (Lindsey) McClellan, Patrick McClellan,
and Timothy McClellan. Two brothers; Scot (Lynn)
McClellan, Lawrence (Susan) McClellan. One sister;
Jane (Roy) Nowakowski. Three Step sisters;
Mari(David) Hoskinson, Alice (Carl) Van Cleef, and
Beverly Tompkins. Eight grandchildren; Cara, Hailey,
Alivia, Kaylee, Michael, Ericka, Tristan, and
Peyton. |
He is preceded in death by his wife,
father, stepfather, grandparents, and stepbrother
Bradley Hatch.
Services will be announced by the family.
