Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta on Monday, January 22, 2018

Service: Private family services will be held on Tuesday

Obituary

David R. Gaither, 54, of Atlanta, passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta on Monday, January 22, 2018.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A private family burial will be held on Tuesday.

David Ray Gaither was born September 2, 1963, in Springfield, the son of Bill and Edna Brooks Gaither.

David is survived by his father, three sons: David L. (Ashley) Gaither of Atlanta, Jordan (Taylor) Gaither of Tremont, and Kyle Gaither of Atlanta; one sister: Julie (Gary) Frantz of Atlanta; and two nephews: Jason Frantz of Atlanta and Alex Frantz of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one infant son.

David was a driver for Carri Scharf Trucking. He was an 1981 graduate of Olympia High School and a member of the Atlanta Christian Church. David loved and cared for his family and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a college fund for Kyle Gaither at the Atlanta National Bank.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
