Travis Konecny scored 27 seconds
into overtime, giving the Philadelphia Flyers a 2-1 victory over the
visiting Washington Capitals on Sunday.
Konecny made a move to elude Washington defenseman John Carlson near
the blue line and quickly cut from the left side to the middle
before firing a shot past goaltender Braden Holtby from between the
circles.
The Flyers, who got a goal in regulation from Michael Raffl, have
won three in a row and seven of their past eight games. Washington
has dropped three straight, including two in a row at home.
Alexander Ovechkin scored the lone goal for the Capitals, on a
second-period power play.
Kings 4, Rangers 2
Michael Amadio had his first career two-point game, and goalie
Jonathan Quick earned the win on his 32nd birthday as Los Angeles
snapped a six-game losing skid by erasing a two-goal deficit to beat
visiting New York.

Amadio, playing just his 11th NHL game, netted the tying goal and
had a hand in the game-winning tally late in the second period. The
Kings' Jake Muzzin, Amadio and Tanner Pearson all scored on the
power play in the middle period. Trevor Lewis added an empty-net
goal in the game's final seconds, and Quick stopped 21 shots.
David Desharnais and Jimmy Vesey scored in the first period for the
Rangers.
Jets 1, Canucks 0
Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves as Winnipeg blanked visiting
Vancouver.
Hellebuyck posted his fourth shutout of the season, matching his
total for all of 2016-17, as the Jets earned their second
consecutive win. Patrik Laine's first-period goal was all the Jets
needed as they improved their dominant home record to 17-3-1.

Vancouver goaltender Anders Nilsson took the loss despite stopping
35 of 36 shots.
Sharks 6, Ducks 2
Mikkel Boedker scored twice in a three-point game, and Marc-Edouard
Vlasic, Joe Thornton and Melker Karlsson each had a goal and an
assist as San Jose skated to a convincing victory in Anaheim, Calif.
Goalie Aaron Dell made 33 saves for the Sharks, who have won five of
their past six outings to maintain their hold on second place in the
Pacific Division.
Anaheim's Ryan Getzlaf and Rickard Rakell both collected two points.
Rakell, who leads the Ducks with 35 points, has nine goals and five
assists in his past 12 games.
Golden Knights 5, Hurricanes 1
Colin Miller scored a goal and supplied two assists as Vegas
completed a solid road trip with its best performance, striking
early in a victory against Carolina at Raleigh, N.C.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Jonathan Marchessault, James Neal and
Brendan Leipsic also scored for Vegas, which was denied reaching the
six-goal mark -- something it has done only twice previously this
season. The Golden Knights wrapped up a four-game road trip with
five of a possible eight team points.
Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 27 shots, allowing just a
first-period goal by Jaccob Slavin after the Golden Knights jumped
out to a 3-0 lead.
