Obituary
Erma “Louise” Bohn passed into the
arms of her Savior on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at
Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski. She was
a long time resident of Cornland.
Her journey began December 15, 1923, the daughter of
Fred and Hilma (Gaffney) Fuiten. She had two
brothers, Dale and Robert and one sister, Betty
Holmes who preceded her in death.
On July 31, 1945, she married Charles Bohn, the love
of her life. They shared 68 years until his passing
in 2013. Rarely did you see one without the other.
They had two children, Brenda (Darrell) Woolums of
Chestnut and Dennis (Cindy) Bohn of Sandwich. They
were blessed with five grandchildren: Adam, Amy,
Andrew, Alex and Jordan, and three great grandsons,
Matthew, Braeden and Aiden. |
Louise devoted her life to God, her
family, her church, and her community. She was a
Christian woman, her gift to us all.
Services for Louise will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday
January 20, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Mount Pulaski with Allen Hickerson
officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior,
9:30-11:30 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment
will be at Steenbergen Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.
Memorials may be given to the Cornland Christian
Church or to the Vonderlieth Living Center Activity
Fund.
