Lynx Win Big at Home

[January 22, 2018]    On Saturday, the Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team rolled to a 110-62 victory over the visiting Robert Morris College (Peoria) Eagles. The win improves the Lynx’s record to 15-1 on the season and marks the fourth time this year the team has gone over 100 points in a game.

Freshmen Louis Griffith (Washington) and Edwin Rivera (Puerto Rico) each had 16 points to lead all Lincoln scorers. Roland Austin, a freshman from South Bend, IN, was next in scoring with 14, and red shirt freshman Tyrone Wright (St. Louis) came off the bench to record a double-double. Wright grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds and poured in 10 points.

Lincoln will look to keep their winning ways at home going this evening as they host Rend Lake College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
