Russell Westbrook scored a
season-high 46 points, and the Oklahoma City Thunder extended their
winning streak to six games with a 121-112 victory over the visiting
Washington Wizards on Thursday.
Paul George finished with 18 points, while Carmelo Anthony added 13
for the Thunder. Oklahoma City is 15-0 since Dec. 1 when all five of
its normal starters -- Westbrook, George, Anthony, Andre Roberson
and Steven Adams -- are in the lineup. Adams contributed 12 points
and 10 rebounds.
Bradley Beal had 41 points and 12 rebounds, while John Wall added 21
points and 12 assists for Washington, which has lost six of its past
nine games. Markieff Morris finished with 20 points and nine
rebounds for the Wizards, who have allowed 98 or more points in 19
consecutive games.
Warriors 126, Timberwolves 113
Golden State bombed in 21 3-pointers, one shy of the franchise
record, en route to a victory over Minnesota in Oakland, Calif.
Kevin Durant hit 6 of 9 3-point attempts to account for a majority
of his 28 points, leading the Warriors to their 19th victory in the
past 22 meetings with the Timberwolves. Minnesota's Karl-Anthony
Towns was the game's high scorer with 31 points.
Golden State's Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry scored 25 points
apiece. The Warriors improved to 27-2 the past two seasons when
Durant, Thompson and Curry have tallied 20 or more apiece in the
same game.
Nuggets 130, Knicks 118
Gary Harris led seven players in double figures with 23 points as
Denver withstood several comeback attempts by visiting New York for
the win.

Reserve Trey Lyles added 21 as the Nuggets shot 60 percent for the
third time this season and led virtually the entire game. Nikola
Jokic and Jamal Murray added 18 apiece for Denver, which beat the
Knicks for the 10th straight time at home since November 2006.
Kristaps Porzingis and Michael Beasley led New York with 21 points
apiece. Porzingis returned from missing Tuesday's loss at Golden
State with a knee injury but picked up his fifth foul with 5 1/2
minutes left in the third quarter and fouled out with 4:49
remaining.
Kings 89, Heat 88
Rookie point guard De'Aaron Fox dunked a putback with 3.3 seconds
left as Sacramento rallied from a 12-point, fourth-quarter deficit,
stunning host Miami.
The Kings' Bogdan Bogdanovic missed the mid-range jump shot that Fox
converted into a bucket. Josh Richardson missed a contested 21-foot
shot at the buzzer to seal the Heat's fate.
Buddy Hield led the Kings with 24 points. Goran Dragic paced Miami
with 23 points.
