Maas named January LTEC Student of the Month

LINCOLN
- Blake Maas, son of Brian & Chrystal Maas, was named January
Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program at the
Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Blake is a senior at Lincoln Community High School
and a second year automotive technology student.
Mr. Jon Graber, instructor, selected Blake for his
outstanding leadership abilities. Mr. Graber says that Blake has an
aptitude for automotive work and is a hard working student that he
can trust to work independently. Blake will take the initiative and
take on a job that is challenging to push himself to learn and be
better. He has the confidence to try new tasks along with the jobs
he does every day. He goes over and beyond in his work.
Blake works at 4 Corners Lube and is gaining experience in this
field in many different ways.
Mr. Graber goes on to say that Blake is a true asset
to the automotive program, he has a very bright future ahead of him
and will be missed next year.

He wishes all the best to Blake in his future endeavors and is
very happy he was able to be a part of his training experience.
Blake is on the Bass Fishing Team and his future plans include
continuing his education and becoming an Automotive Technician.
Blake received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsored this award and
honored him at a noon luncheon.
